Ella Tayler Baron

Ella is currently working on a six part drama about the real events surrounding the 1988 Lockerbie bombing and the joint Scottish-American investigation which sought to bring the perpetrators to justice, for Netflix and the BBC. In 2024 she is also working on the second series of Karen Pirie, adapted from Val McDermid's novels by Emer Kenny, for ITV.

As well as working in production, Ella works as part of the development team at World and is particularly interested in finding and championing new writing talent and exploring new genres.

Ella joined World in November 2021 to script edit The Hunt for Raoul Moat for ITV. Previously, Ella worked as Development Executive at Cosmopolitan Pictures. Before this, she script edited BBC America’s fantasy series The Watch. She cut her teeth in TV development at Bandit Television where she worked across a diverse slate and script edited multiple series of Dan Sefton’s popular Sky1 drama, Delicious.
